The Yarbrough Brothers Open First African American Owned
Bourbon Distillery in Kentucky!
It was Victor Yarbrough’s idea: to do something that would increase economic opportunities in the predominantly Black neighborhoods of west Louisville. So he got with his brothers, Chris and Bryson, and the three started the first Black-owned bourbon company in Louisville —
Brough Brothers Bourbon.
From Masters of Malt: "Brough Brothers Bourbon is the brilliant brainchild of Victor, Chris and Bryson Yarbrough in Louisville, Kentucky. A marvelous small batch Bourbon full of spicy sweetness, cooked fruit and toasty oak notes. Great for sipping, but it also shines in some classic cocktail recipes, too..."
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Floral oak, baking spices and apple pie.
Palate: More cooked orchard fruit, along with fresh pear, mace and cinnamon.
Finish: Caramel and toasty oak linger.

Welcome to the shop, Jacobsen Salt Co.!
Jacobsen Salt Co. from Portland, Oregon: We craft top-shelf cooking ingredients, re-envision classic products and recipes, and provide unforgettable culinary experiences every day. Grounded in craftsmanship and community, our mission is to provide everyone with the finest elemental cooking ingredients and kitchen staples that inspire people to cook, eat, and live well.
Salty Caramels: Our recipe starts with the purest sea salt, sustainably harvested from Netarts Bay on the Oregon Coast. We then carefully toast the sugar and butter to a perfect golden brown, before stirring in the heavy cream. The result: a creamy, chewy caramel with bright, briny sparks of sea salt.
Salty Chocolate Caramels: Unwrapping and placing a caramel into your mouth has the same slow-time feel as letting a piece of chocolate dissolve on your tongue. We went next-level and combined the two in a recipe that starts with pure sea salt harvested from Netarts Bay on the Oregon Coast. We then slowly toast sugar and butter to a perfect golden brown, and finish by stirring in heavy cream and chocolate. The result: a smooth caramel that hits all the sweet notes we love, with the bright, briny sparks of sea salt we crave.
Hot Honey Sauce: Our Hot Honey Sauce is made with American honey, an infusion of Scorpion Chili Peppers and just a touch of vinegar. The result is a fiery-sweet, irreplaceable condiment that adds an addictive kick to finger-licking fried chicken or ribs, a mild brie and ice cream. Use it however you're inspired!

Available for a Limited Time: Jim Beam Old Tub!
Kentucky- Called Old Tub as a nod to the Beam legacy. The liquid we know today as Jim Beam Bourbon got its start as Old Tub Bourbon, a creation of Jacob Beam in 1795. 100 Proof and aged 4 years.
Old Tub Bourbon does things the old way. Just like the original, the new release is not chill filtered. The chill filtration process forces the liquid through a dense filter to remove fatty acids that occur during distillation. Skipping that step results in whiskey with a fuller body, more character, and a flavor that’s authentic to the original.
Old Tub Bourbon’s tasting notes include aromas of oak followed by vanilla and grain. This carries over to the palate, which features oak, grain, and warm caramel.
“We’re taking bourbon lovers back in time and making a delicious bourbon true to the way my ancestors intended over 140 years ago, when Old Tub was first crafted,” said Fred Noe, Beam’s seventh generation master distiller.
You can sip Old Tub however you like: neat, over ice, or in cocktails. Beam suggests using it to make an Old-Fashioned or a Brown Derby, which mixes bourbon with fresh grapefruit juice and honey syrup. (Bevvy)

Maypop Sparkling Water!
Maypop is Nashville’s first and only locally-made, small batch, alcohol-free sparkling water made with real fruit juice.
We source and double carbon filter all of our water locally and our fruit comes from ethical vendors that we know and trust. Every ounce of Maypop is carbonated and packaged in Nashville, so you know we’ve made it with neighborly love.
Crafting a quality product while protecting the environment cuts to the core of the Maypop mission. That’s why we refer to our process as Conscious Carbonation™. When you treat yourself to a refreshing, sparkling Maypop, you’re also helping the Cumberland River Compact, a Nashville-based non-profit and Maypop partner committed to keeping Tennessee’s waterways ethically maintained. Millions of people and thousands of species depend on the Cumberland River Watershed and we treat our duty to keep it healthy very seriously.
Maypop is made with real fruit juice. Nothing is essenced, hinted at, made from concentrate, or artificially flavored in any of our sparkling waters. Things really get complicated in the sparkling water world once you stray outside the lines of real water and real fruit, and that’s why we keep it simple. We make sure every batch perfectly balances enjoyable effervescence with the taste of real fruit juice. For you calorie counters out there, you’ll get just a few calories in the mix since real fruit has real calories.
