Einstok Beer Tasting Thursday!
This Thursday for our Free In-Store Beer Tasting, we will be serving up delicious brews from Einstok!
Einstök Ölgerð is located just 60 miles south of the Arctic circle in the fishing port of Akureyri, Iceland. There, the water flows from rain and prehistoric glaciers down the Hlíðarfjall Mountain and through ancient lava fields, delivering the purest water on Earth, and the perfect foundation for brewing deliciously refreshing craft ales.
From the Brewery:
It takes us nine to twelve months to release new styles, because we take the time to find the right ingredients and to brew several versions until we get to the best. We are not a brewery that strives to come out with a new style every week – we are relentlessly focused on quality over quantity. And the results are beers that have won awards all over the world and fans in more than 22 countries.

Mason 2018 Sauvignon Blanc greets the nose with tropical fruit, figs, and honey. The palate offers creamy pear and fig flavors before giving way to a long, lingering, bright finish with hints of grapefruit. This wine is a stunner with extraordinary mouthfeel and texture.

7 Deadly Zins Old Vine Zin
(Lodi, California)
Sinful indeed, the 2016 Old Vine Zinfandel is full-bodied and seductive. Heaps of jammy berry fruit are followed by aromas of leather, oak and spice notes. On the palate the wine is round and layered showing flavors of dark fruits, currants and toffee through a lingering spice-touched finish.

Banshee Cabernet Sauvignon
(Paso Robles, California)
Deep purple-ruby in color with aromas of black plum, black cherry, and earthy, green herbal notes. A juicy entry on the mouth delivers plush and fine tannins with great opulence and velvety texture. Densely layered flavors of boysenberry, cassis, and plum meet rustic, savory herbs, anise, graphite, and a touch of cocoa powder on the persistent mid-palate. A finale of round tannins frame a balanced, juicy finish.

Come Taste TC Craft Tequila this Friday!
This Friday, we will have the folks from locally owned TC Craft in the store to let you taste their line of delicious Tequila.
From the producer:
TC CRAFT began with two brothers in search of the world's finest craft tequila. After seven years of research, travel and tasting, that search ended at a small distillery in the highlands of Jalisco where the volcanic soil and climate produce the finest agave and our distiller's craft process results in what we know to be the best tequila made.
TC CRAFT offers a full range of agings of tequilas: a Blanco, our pure white tequila, a Reposado, aged just under a year, and an Anejo, aged three years, both kept in Tennessee-made oak casks.
The folks from TC Craft will be here from 4-7p. Stop by and give them a try!

Wild Roots Vodka Tasting on Saturday!
This Saturday afternoon, we will have the folks from Wild Roots Spirits at the bar to sample ya'll on their line of delicious fruited vodkas! Believe me, you don't want to miss this!
From the Distillery:
In the crowded world of vodka, something was missing.There were no natural options. Artificial fruit extracts, flavors, and colors lined the shelves, and we knew something had to be done. So through our desire for naturally infused spirits, Wild Roots was born.
As natives to the Pacific Northwest, we knew there were few places in the world that produced fruit as flavorful and abundant as Oregon’s Willamette Valley. The rich soil, pure water, and exceptional climate allow the fruit to develop unparalleled taste and balance—which is crucial for creating an authentic tasting spirit.
Each bottle of Wild Roots starts with 6 times filtered corn-based vodka, infused with over a pound of natural Northwest-grown fruit. To capture the essence of the beautiful Northwest, we chose fruits that weren’t only rich in flavor, but history as well.

Nelson's Green Brier Tasting this Saturday!
This Saturday, we will have a representative from local Nelson's Green Brier Distillery in the shop to sample you on their brand new Tennessee Whiskey!
From the Distillery:
We’re proud to resurrect our remarkable family recipe, with the first bottling since 1909. Painstakingly filtered through a mellowing bed of sugar maple charcoal and aged in new charred oak barrels, it’s easy to taste why Charles Nelson's wheated mash bill recipe and meticulous process set the standard by which all future Tennessee Whiskeys are judged. We think you’ll agree that it’s been well worth the wait.
