From the brewery:
Our dedicated cider makers crush and craft locally picked apples to create our variety of crisp and refreshing hard cider styles. That’s true at the two cideries we built and established at both ends of the Blue Ridge, including our flagship timber frame Cider Barn in Nellysford, Virginia, as well as our newer facility in the western North Carolina mountain town of Mills River. As more people continue to enjoy our freshly crafted cider, we are still committed to preserving BoldRock’s founding ideals: Real Apples. Real Craft. Real People.

Moonlight Meadery Tasting Friday!
This Friday, we will have the folks from Moonlight Meadery in the store to let you sample their meads!
From the Meadery:
Moonlight Meadery’s founder, Michael Fairbrother, has been perfecting his meadmaking skills since 1995.
Our world class meads and ciders are crafted with passion and love.
All of our honey is True Source Certified. The True Source Certification guarantees that our honey comes from real bee keepers that ethically source their honey. Every shipment of honey we receive is fully traceable back to the hives of origin.
Our fruit ingredients are sourced locally and sustainably. If there are no local options available (mangoes don’t grow in NH… yet) then we find the highest quality available to us. We use whole fruits when possible, if none are available then we use fruit purées or juices.
Our founder Michael Fairbrother has used the same yeast strain for over 21 years of meadmaking, Lalvin 71B. This white wine yeast strain produces incredibly smooth alcohols and can ferment up to roughly 17% ABV. The yeast makes all the magic happen, it is our job to ensure they have the ideal environment to do their work.

DeepBay Spirits Friday Tasting!
This Friday, we will also have the folks fromDeep Bay Spirits in the shop to pour their delicious canned cocktails including 2 new flavors, Cranberry Pomegranate & Grapefruit Vodka Sodas!
Premium distilled spirits, carbonated water, and natural flavors are all that go into our canned cocktails. Perfect for any occasion, but DeepBaycanned cocktails are best enjoyed amongst friends and family when you’re in your happy place, a place like DeepBay. At 110 calories each, you won’t need to feel guilty enjoying our products.

The highly drinkable Più Gioia (meaning “more joy” in Italiano) is a universally crowd-pleasing Pinot Grigio. Fresh, light and dry, it’s uber refreshing and perfect for summer drinking. Where some Pinot Grigios can be thin and underwhelming, Più Gioia feels weightier in the mouth while maintaining a light body and crisp acidity. Even traditional PG skeptics will approve.

The Palm by Whispering Angel
(Provence, France)
The Palm is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah made from grapes which are selected from the best vineyards in the appellation Côteaux d’Aix-en-Provence. Pale pink with green hues both of which are clear & very expressive. Great aromatic freshness on the nose followed by more subtle, fruity notes on the palate. The freshness is coupled with exceptional length and roundness. Crisp and suave finish.

Evodia Garnacha
(Spain)
This Eric Solomon custom cuvee is made from a high-altitude vineyard planted in schist and slate soils. This deep ruby/purple colored is a gorgeous, naked expression of Grenache that just knocks it out of the park. Blackberries, blueberries, pepper, licorice and hints of asphalt all emerge from this plump, sexy, opulent, and shockingly concentrated wine that has incredible charm and character.
