Thursday Tasting with Codigo 1530 Tequila!
This Thursday, we will taste a delicious line of Tequilas with the folks from Codigo 1530.
From the Distiller:
It’s a question often asked in the outside world: What kind of tequila do those who ‘know’ drink in Mexico?
For generations, the answer has only been known to a select group of Mexico’s most respected families and Los Bajos’ finest jimadors – they are the fortunate few who have had the privilege of tasting El Tequila Privado, a private recipe from a little distillery in Amatitán. With no commercial pressure to ever bring this private tequila to market, a small group of Mexican families have heartily funded it. For several generations, a local Amatitán artisan and distilling family has passionately produced this spirit, never veering from the centuries old codes and customs – “Los Códigos” – that have made it the most selective tequila in the world.

Friday Tasting with
Red Eye Rye!
This Friday, we will have the folks from Barsmith in the store to let you sample their locally made Rye & Coffee spirit, Red Eye Rye!
From the Distillery:
Red Eye Rye is a unique and versatile spirit born behind the bar in Nashville, Tennessee. Rye whiskey, 100% Arabica coffee from South America and granulated sugar are blended together to create a bold and complex spirit that is great on its own or mixed into a classic cocktail. Roasted coffee, toasted hazelnut and pepper spice make up the nose of the spirit. On the palate Red Eye Rye starts with dark coffee turning into smooth vanilla and toasted nut flavor and finishing with a dry pepper spice mellowed slightly by a round sweetness. Red Eye Rye is free of caramel color, grain spirit, or any other fillers or additives. Bottled at 80 proof / 40% ABV and made with pure rye whiskey using a 95% rye and 5% malted barley mash bill.

This Saturday afternoon, we will have Adam Zinzer, Grain & Barrel Spirits Tennessee Market Manager, in the store to let you taste their delicious Dixie Vodka and Chicken Cock Whiskey!
